Born +Raised in Lincoln, Nebraska
There was a time about 10 years ago when I decided to ditch Nebraska for Colorado, but as fate would have it, I found my way back and now reside just 15 minutes outside of Lincoln in the country.
In my free time I love to curl up with a good book, gardening and I love home design. After receiving an AAS and BS in Dietetics and Nutrition Science, fitness and health remains an active part of my lifestyle. My fiance and I have been together for nine years and at last getting married this June of 2023. Together we have two Australian Shepherds named Chief and Maverick, farm cats, chickens and a whole lotta chaos. We also travel frequently and love to go boating in Lake of the Ozarks, Missouri year round.

FAQ
What should I expect from a session with you?
playful, low key, relaxed and spontaneous! I move quickly on the spot and
will give a guided approach while capturing candid, authentic imagery.
Do you have a studio?
I own Cedar + Sage Studio located in Eagle, NE. It's a beautiful 1920s historic building
that offers a lot of warm and earthy character. With a 12 foot wall of exposed brick, wood floors,
coffee bar and a variety of natural elements - this space provides beautiful natural lighting. It's also a wonderful location for winter or rainy day sessions, newborn & family, and boudoir.
Cedar + Sage Studio allows other photographers to rent out for sessions. It also serves as a rental space for events such as baby and bridal showers, graduation and intimate weddings.
Do you travel?
I travel everywhere and love nothing more than a adventurous session outside of my small town. You tell me where and I'll book a flight. I've shot anywhere from the Rocky Mountains, Black Hills, Salt Flats, Tennessee, Ohio and Texas.
Where Have You Been
Published?
My work has been published in Nebraska Wedding Day, Shutterup, Cowboys and Indians Magazine and a I've done product photography for brands as large as Wrangler and Kimes Ranch. I've also worked with a variety of boutiques and models, while coordinating styled shoots on location. You can view my western photography with Modern Western Women.
How would you explain your style?
I am drawn to warm and earthy photography with clean details, because to me, it tells a story. It's true to those real lie moments. I love capturing emotion. While I'll always capture those head facing camera shots you need, you can expect an album full of candid and authentic moments.
What is your turnaround for photos?
You can expect to view your shoot in less than a week! A full gallery will be delivered within 2-3 weeks and weddings approximately 8-10 weeks. If there should be any further delay, I'll communicate with you.
What makes you different?
I can't express how important it is as a photographer that we communicate with our clients. That being said, you aren't just a client to me. You're a friend. A friend I hope to see more of from years to come. I love hearing your stories, learning about you and feeling connected. Your photographer should be someone you consider a friend, as they'll be there along your side through some pretty amazing moments of your life.
