A Western Nebraska Wedding

God gave me you.

🍃

// How do I share all the details of this gorgeous day down to one post? It’s impossible.

Watching Hannah + Corbin share their vows in front of their closest friends & family, was a blessing.

I met up with Hannah just as she was finishing the touches of her hair and makeup. Her bridesmaids were dressed in a gorgeous rust shade that spoke to my soul. And then I found her jewelry case, w a turquoise squash blossom, cuff & earrings.

“Is this what she’s wearing?” I asked her bridesmaids, in complete awe over this ensemble. They nodded yes & I think I squealed a bit.

Then her dress. A classic piece that fit her like the true western woman she is. I found an old barn that felt like this dress stood out, in all its classic fashion. A unique location I’m sure, but I wanted it needed character.

Corbin, dressed fittingly in Ariat jeans & a classic western shirt, smiled at ease. This was their day, at last. All seamlessly coming together.

After wrapping up our bridal photos it was just about time for the wedding. I looked out at the rolling hills of Nebraska, taking in its beauty. God was everywhere.

It was time to head into the barn. Now I’ve been in quite a few, but this one just felt authentic. Hay bales stretched across for the guests, including on top. I immediately knew this place carried so many memories. Every single guest was dressed to the nines, in their western wear. Including Hannah’s mother, in a black & white framed photo tucked into her Dads arm. I know her mom was smiling from above.

As Pastor Moody spoke, he happened to share a brief comment about unity & a rope. And that’s when I glanced on the wall. I smiled. So much symbolism was here.

Hannah & Corbins’ parents wrapped the couple in prayer as the girls sang the hymn “Amazing Grace,” & the two sealed the deal with a unity branding.

As husband and wife, they drove off into the sunset on their Farmall tractor.

Congratulations to the Mr. & Mrs. Bigbee! // @lovesongforgod
